Bluecrop is one of the mainstays of the blueberry industry, prized for its excellent flavor, reliability and productivity.  Once fully established, you can harvest as much as 10- 20 lbs of fruit from one plant. The fruit ripens in July.
Bluecrop produces all-purpose blueberries that are firm and somewhat tart — great for preserves, baking, freezing and fresh eating.  This variety is self-fertile, but as always, you will get more fruit if you plant another variety for cross pollination.  This shrub is nice looking as well, with white flowers in spring, and fiery red color in the fall.
