Jersey is a highbush blueberry cultivar which is well known for good cold hardiness, vigor, and large numbers of 1/4" - 1/2" sized fruit with excellent sweetness. Jersey blueberry bushes typically grow to be 6 to 8 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide. They are known for their upright, well-shaped habit, making them an excellent choice for ornamental hedges in addition to fruit production.
 
Jersey blueberries are self-fertile, but for maximum fruit yield, planting a second variety of blueberry is recommend.  This will usually increase both fruit set and fruit size. Fall coloration is a very attractive orange / red color. White bell shaped blooms begin in May, with fruit set beginning shortly after - beginning to ripen in mid season (late June thru early July).
